Whoever said decaf was boring? Some of the highest scoring coffees coming through our doors have been decaf and what they lack in caffeine, they make up for in fireworks across your tongue, and we’re all about celebrating flavour first and foremost.

If you have stayed with us a while, you’ll know we had an insane natural processed decaf from Jairo Arcila in 2024. Now this year, we’ve revisited the harvest and man, we didn’t think it could get any better than it already was!

Bright, juicy vibrant notes of big yellow tropical fruits, a well rounded base and lovely syrupy moreish texture.

Naturally processed, the fermentation has pronounced and emboldened all the complex fruity flavours that this 100% Castillo has to offer.

You won’t just be drinking it because it’s decaf!

Jairo Arcila is, without a doubt, one of Colombia’s biggest specialty coffee legends!

Since planting his first Caturra lot at his farm Finca La Esmeralda in 1987, Jairo now owns six coffee farms across Colombia.

Perfectly Roasted

We practice omni roasting—a philosophy kind of like finding each coffee bean's one true love in roast form!

This means every bean gets its perfect roasting match to highlight its unique quirks and flavours. Naturally decaffeinated beans, after their caffeine-free makeover, can be a bit sensitive and prone to over-roasting, so we steer clear of going too dark to keep their delightful tastes intact.

Fruity, unusual and delicious

I’ve tried a bunch of decafs over the past year or so and this one is the king. A really bold fruity flavour, not quite like anything else I’ve had, caffeinated or not. I generally use regular milk in coffee but this one works really well with oatmilk. Highly recommended.

Best decaf I’ve tasted

This is the most adventurous tasting decaf coffee I’ve tried. Most are usually pretty bland and all tend to have the same taste. This is completely different right from the initial aromas right through to the actual cup. Works equally well as espresso or filter, which is a plus!
