At Craft Decaf, we're dedicated exclusively to exceptional decaf coffee. We focus solely on sourcing high-quality beans that are best suited for decaf. Our passion is to provide you with decaf that doesn't compromise on flavor or quality.
How is your decaf coffee decaffeinated?
We use the natural Sugarcane decaffeination process at the origin. This method gently removes caffeine using naturally fermented sugarcane, preserving the coffee's full-bodied flavour without any chemical residues.
Why do you prefer decaffeination at origin?
Decaffeinating at origin reduces unnecessary food miles and supports coffee-growing communities by investing more in bean quality and local economies. It's a sustainable and ethical approach that results in better coffee for you.
What is the Sugarcane decaffeination process?
The Sugarcane process involves using naturally fermented sugarcane to create a solvent that removes caffeine from the beans. This method retains the coffee's natural flavours and leaves no chemical traces.
Is decaf coffee completely caffeine-free?
While decaf coffee removes most of the caffeine, a tiny amount remains—typically about 2-3 milligrams per cup compared to 95 milligrams in regular coffee. It's a great option for those looking to reduce their caffeine intake.
How does the Discovery Subscription work?
We are the only Discovery Subscription that focuses purely on amazing decaf. You'll receive a coffee from amazing independent roasters in the UK, and one bag from us. It's a fantastic way to explore different flavours and find your favourites.
Can I purchase coffee without subscribing?
Absolutely! You can buy our coffees individually. We also offer a Taster Pack that's perfect for newcomers or as a gift.
Do you offer ground coffee or only whole beans?
We offer both whole beans and ground coffee. You can select your preference when placing your order.
How fresh is your coffee?
We roast our coffee in small batches in Bristol to ensure maximum freshness. Your coffee is roasted shortly before it's shipped to you.
